Four hour workshop with the
Winemaking Family
Join the Lawrence family for a half day
learning and tasting experience on a boutique vineyard and
winery in the southernmost wine area in the world.
You will learn how fine wine is made primarily in the vineyard.
The viticulturalist will take you on a tour of the vineyards and
explain what is happening at this point in the season; you will
learn how quality grapes are grown.
Join the family for morning or afternoon tea.
Visit the winery and join the winemaker to learn how different
varieties of wine are made.
Enjoy a tutored tasting session to discover how to distinguish
sensory characteristics of the wines.
All sessions have ample time for questions.
About the tutors Joan and Tony Lawrence have been growing grapes
in Central Otago since 1997. They established Aurum’s own winery
in 2006.
