Half-day workshop with Jacky
Morren
This unique Kiwi experience allows you to
work with beautiful “pounamu” (NZ greenstone or jade) and create
your own piece of jewellery. You will be stunned at what you can do
in half a day! A passionate and professional carver, Jacky
offers you a beautiful selection of genuine New Zealand
jade to choose from – or you can even bring your very own stone found in a riverbed or at the beach! Walk away with your unique
creation of a pendant, ring or bracelet and feel the thrill of
working with a material that has been part of New Zealand culture
for a very long time. No previous
skills are required. Just bring your enthusiasm!
About the tutor
Jacky Morren was introduced to the
precious stone “pounamu” as she first set foot in New Zealand.
Six years ago, her passion for working with jade lead her
to train as a professional jade carver, a step that she has never

individual commissions as well. Jacky loves to share her
time and skills with others.
